Creating your Citizens Student Profile

This article walks you through how to create an account, log in, and set up your profile so you’re ready to start.

Create an account or accept an invitation

There are two ways to get started:

Option A – Create an account

If you're joining independently:

  1. Go to https://app.citizens.co/

  2. Click Register

  3. Choose how you'd like to sign up (Microsoft, or email)

  4. Follow the prompts to complete your registration

Option B – Accept an invitation

If your school, club, or organisation invited you:

  1. Open the invitation email or link you received

  2. Click the link and follow the instructions

If it’s your first time using Citizens, you might be asked to either:
A) Create a new password or
B) Add the temporary password that was shared with you. If you're using a temporary password we suggest to change it as soon as you first log in.

ℹ️ Resetting your password

Logging in

To return to your profile anytime:

  1. Go to https://app.citizens.co/

  2. Fill in your details and click Log In

Set up your profile

Once you're logged in:

  1. Update your profile image (top left corner)

  2. Click Update

  3. Add your name and a short bio

  4. Optionally add your contact details

Once your profile is ready, start showing what you've done!
