When a student publishes an action, you can leave feedback directly on their action - whether you have the action approval workflow turned on or not. Students can also respond to your feedback, exactly as you might on a Google Doc. This helps students understand what to improve before the action is approved.

How to give feedback on a student action

  1. Go to My students.

  2. Find the student you want to give feedback to.

  3. Click the plus (+) icon to view all of the student’s actions.
(If you have the approval workflow turned on, Actions that still show the Approve button are the ones that need review.)

  4. Click the three dots next to Approve, then select View.

  5. Hover over the part of the action description where you want to give feedback.
On the left-hand side, click the + icon.

  6. The comments panel will open on the left.
Type your feedback and click Post feedback.

Pro tip: You can also navigate to an action from the student's profile and their wheels.

What happens next

  • Your student will receive a notification with the feedback you’ve left.

  • They can:

    • Respond to your comment

    • Update or improve the action description

    • Re-submit the action for you to review again

This makes it easy to guide students while keeping a clear review and approval process.

You can then Resolve the feedback thread when you are happy feedback has been addressed.
