Citizens comes with 2 wheels by default: the 'Citizens Benchmarks'. These are available to all students worldwide, whether their school subscribes to Citizens or they use Citizens for free as an individual student. They are designed to map student action to recognised frameworks for skills, character and social contribution.

  • The Citizens Skills 360™ is a research-based, globally-recognised benchmark for youth skills and character development.

  • The UN Impact 360 is a visual framework for the UN Sustainable Development Goals, mapping action to social impact.

If you’d like to set up a custom wheel that reflects your school’s own curriculum, please contact us at [email protected].

Please note that only subscribing schools can add custom wheels to Citizens.

What information will Citizens need?

We can work with as little or as much information as you have for your curriculum. Our founder is a curriculum specialist, with a PhD in curriculum design and evaluation for youth skills and competencies. He can use this expertise to take high level goals for your school and break them down into curriculum elements - such as Domains, Strands and individual Learning Outcomes.

This google sheet provides a good example of the sort of detail and structure a wheel will ultimately have. If you can provide you curriculum in this format that will help accelerate the process, but the Citizens team can also convert whatever documents you have into this structure.
